Fayette Bruun is a single parent, writer, and artist. She is passionate about art in all forms and admires its ability to reflect the deepest and most difficult aspects of both individuals and the societies which birth them. She also strives to build a more culturally and historically honest and inclusive world, beginning by turning a critical eye toward the history curriculum taught for decades in the United States in order to give her son an unadulterated and sincere education. She believes that sharing honest, human stories is the foundation for creating a united, diverse future capable of tackling the greatest challenges we face, and that raising a generation grounded in cultural awareness is an essential stepping stone.
