What was your favorite book as a child?
My first favourite book was a copy of “Pumuckl”, which my aunt gave to me for my eighth birthday. I used to read it with my flashlight until late at night — in secret, of course. Later I remember reading Lippel’s “Traum” and in my youth I really enjoyed Agatha Christie’s and Nick Hornby’s books.
Do you remember the original reason or motivation why you started writing creatively?
My love for music, probably. Even so, I never plan my writing in advance. The words just come from time to time and I drop them down. My first pieces of creative writing were song lyrics.
What was the most adventurous or thrilling thing you ever did/experienced?
Travelling Portugal, the Middle East, Japan, and Australia.
Do you listen to music while reading or writing?
No, I don’t.
