Daniel Loebl was born in Lima, Peru. He currently lives in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. He has a degree in Philosophy which he regularly uses to try to improve his understanding of the world around him.
What was your favorite book as a child?
My favorite book as a child was a collection of apocryphal stories starring Sherlock Holmes.
What was the original reason or motivation why you started writing creatively?
I've always wanted to create a world for other people where they can get lost.
What was the most adventurous or thrilling thing you ever did/experienced?
I've run 26 marathons (so far) and I find the training and pursuit of them very adventurous and thrilling.
Do you listen to music while reading or writing?
Sometimes, I listen to meditation/yoga music while I write to block the sounds of the world around me.
