Bio

Lisa Schantl is the founder and editor-in-chief of Tint Journal, co-head of the literary space BLÄTTERN, and currently pursuing her PhD in anglophone translingual poetry at the University of Graz and Vilnius University. She studied English and American Studies (BA, MA) and Philosophy (BA) in Austria and the USA. Her writings and translations have appeared in Asymptote, manuskripte, PubLab, The Hopper, The Massachusetts Review, The Normal Review, Versopolis, and elsewhere. She has received various grants and scholarships, most recently the KUNSTRAUM STEIERMARK scholarship (2023-24) as well as an Arqus project grant for her PhD (2024-27).
