After her photography diploma at the College for Fine Art Photography & Multimedia Art at Ortweinschule Graz, Lena Baloch earned her Bachelor of Arts in Information Design at the University of Applied Sciences, Graz. As part of the study-abroad program, Lena Baloch also studied at the Photography Department of the College for Creative Studies, Detroit.
Lena Baloch is the author of the photography books bruch stück (Fotohof edition, 2023), density detroit (2021), Grieskind (2019) and No5 (2019). Her photographs have been exhibited at Tangent Gallery Detroit, Fotogalerie im Rathaus Graz, and Designforum Graz, among others. Lena Baloch is co-founder of the artist:interior collective Kollektiv:Raum.
