Bio

Çağla Arıbal is a Turkish-born, Berlin-based writer and teacher. She holds an MA in English Literature from the University of Potsdam. She won the Oxford Review of Books’ 2023 Best Fiction Prize and is a recipient of the 2026 Berlin Senate Literature Stipend for Non-German Writers and an Oxbelly 2026 Fiction Fellowship. Her work has appeared in the European Review of Books, First Page, Versopolis, The Word, and Textur, among others. She currently teaches at the Berlin Writers’ Workshop.
