Tint Journal Authors Awarded with Pushcart Prize(s)

Published October 8th, 2025 News

Congratulations to Nadir Jabur and Sahil Mehta!

The Pushcart Prize is one of the most influential projects in the history of American publishing (see Publishers Weekly). To this day, it has remained one of the most prestigious awards that authors published by small presses and independent magazines can receive in the Anglophone literary world.

We are incredibly honored and proud to announce that two of our past contributing writers are now amongst the assorted Pushcart cohort: Nadir Jabur’s “The Uber Men” (Tint Spring ‘24) has been awarded a Pushcart Prize in 2025 and Sahil Mehta’s “The Silent World of Jordi Soto” (Tint Fall ‘24) has received a special mention in the Pushcart Press’ upcoming anthology, Pushcart Prize L. We wish them the best of luck for their future writing endeavors!

We also want to thank the Pushcart editors for considering Tint Journal’s work and by doing so amplifying our own quest to make non-native English voices heard and seen. Thank you!

To learn more about Tint Journal’s winning authors of this year, read up on Nadir Jabur and Sahil Mehta in our Writers section.
