Fall '26: Out Now!
Published September 10th, 2026 News
Tint Journal celebrates the release of issue no. 16, Fall ’26, on September 10, 2026 (release time: 10 a.m. CEST)!
The magazine’s third themed issue includes 24 new poems, short stories and nonfiction essays by writers with locales in 17 different countries and 22 different first languages. Together, they explore what it means to provide and receive nurture in an exceedingly fast-paced and growth-driven world. The stories and poems find aspects of care and caring in social traditions, in the 'small' moments of being raised, in natural habitats, in encounters between human and animal, in war and conflict zones, in the body and in the mind. Through the multivocality of ESL writing, this issue brings the diversity of nurture and where and how we may find it to the fore.
Each text is accompanied with an original visual artwork by an international artist and a brief Q&A with the writer. Many of the pieces have also been recorded by the writers themselves, providing you with an additional audible experience (in full-length available for Story and Epic Reader subscribers).
